Terms of Service
Last updated: July 14, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KidBoard app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use KidBoard
You must be an adult (the age of majority in your country) to create a KidBoard account. The account holder is the parent or guardian and is responsible for the family members and child profiles they add, and for all activity under the account.
2. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- You are responsible for the child profiles you create, including the usernames and passwords you set for Kid Mode.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.
- Abuse features such as the referral program — for example, by creating fake accounts or using deceptive means to earn rewards. We may reverse rewards and suspend accounts involved in abuse.
4. Plans, rewards, and payments
- KidBoard offers a free tier with limits and a paid Premium plan. Current features and pricing are described on our website and may change.
- Referral rewards are credits that raise a free-plan limit and have no cash value. They are non-transferable and may be adjusted or revoked if earned through abuse or error.
- Where subscriptions are offered, billing terms are presented at purchase. Except where required by law or stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the information you enter (duties, rewards, child profiles, photos, and records). You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for the content you add and confirm you have the right to add it.
6. Service availability
We work to keep the Service running reliably but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, we will delete or anonymize your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KidBoard is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
